Welcome

On behalf of the Swiss Golf Association, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all participants, officials and visitors of the 2009 European Seniors Team Championship to be played at Golf Patriziale in Ascona.

It is always an honour for the national federation as well as the organising club to stage a European Championship; all those who are involved are looking forward to contributing to an EGA event and we hope that this will also help international relations among senior golfers at the highest level.

The organising committee has done its best to make your stay in Ticino a very enjoyable one. Our sincere thanks go to them for making this event possible. We do hope that you will have a memorable experience in Ascona.
